Being in a managerial
role from an early age prompted me to pursue my dreams of becoming a brand manager. During high school, I was a Supervisor at Chick-fil-A for nearly three years. This venture in my life allowed me to discover that I am a strong, compassionate yet effective leader. While working at Chick-fil-A, I fell in love with how a brand can make a meaningful impact on consumers, whether in the store or on the streets. But more importantly, I’m chock full of Chick-fil-A knowledge. Did know the popular Chick-fil-A sauce was created by mixing honey mustard, ranch, and BBQ?
After completing my B.S. in Fashion Merchandising as a Magna Cum Laude @ Old Dominion University, I took a gap year after graduating and worked at Armani Exchange as a Visual Assistant. After awhile, I realized I had had enough of retail, and impulsively moved to Richmond, Virginia with my boyfriend and dog two days before Christmas in 2017.
By the fall of the following year, I was attending VCU Brandcenter for Creative Brand Management. A decision I haven’t regretted since applying.
My favorite projects have included developing a fragrance that enhances craft beer, designing a line of pet treats for KIND, and creating a retail space for the brands ‘hims’ and the sister brand ‘hers’
The three things that you should know about me: I am not afraid to take risks, I will always go the second mile, and I believe wholeheartedly in the "kill them with kindness" mentality. —
